Essential Oil Storage

I have been on the hunt for some sort of container to organize my essential oils for several months without any luck. There aren’t a lot of options out there specifically for oils, so I began thinking of items that were similar in size, starting with lipstick organizers. Most of what I found was tiered or only allowed the oils to be placed standing up. That’s not a huge problem, but I wanted to be able to see the oil label without having to alphabetize them or sort through them all to get the one I needed. So I decided to search nail polish storage and after browsing for a few minutes, this caught my eye. I pulled the trigger, and received it last week.

I instantly knew that it was a winner! It has the potential to hold 48 oil bottles, and one column has adjustable rows so it can fit larger items if need be. I ordered mine here
Here’s how I was storing my oils to start with.

Not bad, but each time I opened and closed the drawer, they would roll all over the place.
The Young Living oil bottles ended up fitting perfectly and seeing them all lined up makes me more happy than it probably should.

I removed the adjustable dividers on the far left which allowed me to store my diffuser cleaning brushes in there as well. There are still 24 compartments on the other side that are completely empty, leaving room for my growing collection.

I mean, look how stinking pretty! So much easier on the eyes than opening a drawer and seeing a bunch of bottles haphazardly tossed in there.
I know it’s pretty obvious what is being stored since the container is clear, but I couldn’t help trying out my new-to-me Silhouette Portrait. I chose a simple font and cut out a vinyl decal making this one of my favorite projects to date.

I would love to hear from you guys! What are some of your favorite oils and how do you store them?
