What are some of your favorite apps? Mine range anywhere
from Candy Crush (I’m late to the game, but already addicted!) to Feedly.
One of my favorites apps that helps me stay organized is
Grocery iQ. It is the only grocery shopping app I have tried, but it has made
my grocery shopping routine a little easier.
Here are a few things I love about this app.
First off, it’s free! You can’t beat that.
Second, it categorizes your shopping list. If you’ve read my
menu planning post, then you know that I do that anyway to make my shopping
trip easier. With this app, you
enter in your list and it puts in categories for you.
Also, I can
sync it with my husband’s phone and he can add things to my list whenever he
thinks of something he needs. This feature also allows for us to split up at
the grocery store and once we check an item off it updates the list so the
other person knows what has been checked off and what hasn’t.
Oh, and when you finish the
box of cheez-its (and by you, I mean me), you can scan the barcode on the box
and it will add it to your list! How cool is that!?
I love that I don’t have to
keep up with a pen and paper and I can just check things off as I go. Seriously, what did we do before
iPhones?
I would love to hear what
apps you use to help you stay organized. Do you have a different app that you
use for your grocery list? I didn’t even look at the ones that weren’t free but
would be willing to pay a dollar or two if you have one that you just swear by.
Happy Organizing!
